Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of OG Studio ("Service"), operated by Snappy API, Inc. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By using our Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

OG Studio provides an API for generating dynamic Open Graph images. The Service includes:

  • REST API for OG image generation
  • Template creation and management
  • Image hosting and CDN delivery
  • Dashboard for managing API keys and usage

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly update your information if it changes
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. API Keys and Security

We provide two types of API keys:

  • Public Keys (pk_*): Safe for use in client-side code. These are rate-limited and can be domain-restricted.
  • Secret Keys (sk_*): Must be kept confidential and used only in server-side code.

You are responsible for keeping your API keys secure. We recommend rotating keys periodically and using domain restrictions where possible.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Distribute malware or engage in phishing
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the Service
  • Resell the Service without authorization
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service

6. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of content you create using the Service, including templates you design. You grant us a license to host and serve your content as necessary to provide the Service.

Our Content: The Service, including its design, features, and documentation, is owned by Snappy API, Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws.

7. Payment Terms

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:

  • Pay all fees associated with your selected plan
  • Provide valid payment information
  • Authorize automatic billing for recurring charges

Refunds may be provided at our discretion for unused portions of the current billing period if you cancel within 7 days of being charged.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice
  • Modify or discontinue features with notice
  • Suspend accounts that violate these Terms

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SNAPPY API, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Snappy API, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we may delete your data after a reasonable retention period.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
